MADE TO ORDER.

All pieces are made to order, accessories takes up 3-7 weeks to complete and 10-12 weeks for a dress.  

Turnaround times are not guaranteed, please discuss with studio prior to purchase.

Rush orders available for an additional £25.

When ordering a made to order item we advise you allow an additional 3 weeks on top of the production turnaround to allow for unexpected emergencies or shipping delays.  

 

International orders- shipping times and duration in customs can vary. We would recommend you purchase your item at least 3 months prior to the date you will need it.  

 

All items are handmade and can vary in colour and detail. Making every piece individual to the owner.  

 

For Shipping within the UK and Australia we ship with Royal Mail. RM tracked for Accessories and Parcelforce 24 for Bridal Attire. Online tracking and signed for delivery confirmation are included.  

 

For Shipping International orders, we use UPS or FedEx International shipping dependent on the Country, which takes on average, 2-4+ weeks to arrive. Tracking and delivery confirmation are included. Insurance is not included but can be added for an extra charge.

 

FITTINGS

Fitting appointments are only avaliable during the week, we are unavaliable to fit gowns at weekends.

CUSTOM ORDERS

We love to create new designs and will gladly create a dress from a sketch or magazine. We offer a bespoke service of colour matching and dying to your requirements, this will require an extra charge that will be discussed at your appointment along with the additional time we will need to complete it.

 

PAYMENT

All dresses are made to order so we do not offer exchanges or refunds.  

Once the dress design has finalised we will ask for a 50% non refundable deposit to confirm your order.  

Toile fitting: At this stage, you will need to pay 25% of the over all price. Some changes can be made to the overall design of your wedding dress however extra costs may incur.  

First fitting: The final 25% payment of your dress is due. Any accessories will need to be ordered at this point and paid for in full.  

We accept, visa, mastercard, american express all major credit and debit cards for gowns and accessories. All our dresses and accessories are hand made too order so we do not supply refunds, exchanges, returns or credit. We also accept BACS payment, where we can supply you with account details. Paypal is on accepted for online accessorie orders.  

We do not accept paypal or cheques payments within store.  

 

Please check that your shipping address for your PayPal account are the same.  Please email if you find that there is a difference after payment or require a different shipping address.

PACKING FOR ALL ORDERS

All orders are packaged in our beautiful branded boxes and wrapped in tissue paper.  

SHIPPING

We always us tracked shipping & we will send you proof of shipping once shipped.

Insurance is NOT INCLUDED please convo us if you would like to UPGRADE to add insurance Prior to ordering.

UK shipping is usually next day via Royal mail tracked & signed for or Parcel force 24

Orders to Australia are send via Royal mail International Tracked usually takes 7-14days.

USA, Europe & rest of the world we send UPS OR FEDEX we use a International standard service, Please allow 7-10 days. If you require an EXPRESS service please email prior to ordering.

For International orders please be aware that customs can vary in time to clear, dependant on the Country.

Please let us know prior to purchase if you would like to upgrade so we can arrange a PayPal invoice for the additional cost.

We will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages or customs delays.

Taxes and duties incurred by international customers are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Please choose your items carefully before purchasing your piece.

Everything is lovingly Made to Order so unfortunately we CANNOT refund or exchange pieces.

We do not hold stock or provide a try before you buy service.

If there is damage due to shipping we will try to help to mend any items where we can, once shipped back to us.

However we cannot take responsibility for damage due to shipping.

CARE OF PURCHASE

Veils:

Veils will need to be steamed before wearing to release wrinkles. If you cannot steam, you can iron on the lowest setting and very lightly. You can also mist with water and blow dry, again, on a low setting.

Flowers:

Please handle with care, they are delicate and hand sewn. Do not wash or get them wet as will loose shape. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Feathers:

Feather pieces can appear a little flattened after shipping, stroke your hands down the feathers and they will fluff back up. Please handle delicately & store with care.

Gowns:

Please use a specialist dry cleaner only.

Store item in box the piece are shipped in.

PERSONAL REQUEST

Please do not copy our designs. At Ruth Milliam Bridal Couture we work hard to create our unique designs. Each piece is lovingly hand made in our studio in England. We would appreciate your respect in not copying our designs.
